Singer/songwriter Andy Sutphen relocated to Savannah, GA with a catalog of songs in his pocket. He was set on a finding a fresh start and a new band. By 2015 Street Clothes was formed and creating a stir in the local scene with their dynamic, dance inducing live performances. Soon after, the band released their full length debut, With Signs & Wonders. Produced and recorded by their collaborator and sometimes member, Peter Maverogeorgis at Dollhouse Productions using both analog and digital recording techniques, WS&W mixed dance, rock and New Wave and set the bar for future Street Clothes releases.

A strong rapport was developed during these first studio sessions and Street Clothes returned to Mavrogeorgis later that year to collaborate further on their second LP, Superautomatica. The sophomore album brings a sleek, synth-driven sound that evokes 1970's new wave paired with anecdotal lyrics that draw you into to the dark themes present throughout the record.

Currently Street Clothes is recording and playing shows and is preparing to record their third record. The newest single and video, entitled Tempt Me (found everywhere music is sold) is a spark of what’s to come. Stay tuned.
